Tour - Part 3

Benefit from Collaborative Project Management
OK, so you breezed through the process of setting up your project-now comes the next challenge...How do you keep it updated without becoming a slave to the time-consuming and often tedious data entry process? Well, certainly you can take the time to enter the updated information from all your resources into all your projects-but with Project X, you don't have to!
Leverage Unprecedented Sharing Capabilities
Fortunately, Project X boasts better collaboration tools than any other desktop project management application. Share files with Windows users, or connect to any network and communicate automatically with your staff through the revolutionary Project X Web App. The Web App publishes your projects using Mac OS X Personal Web Sharing.

Let Others Do the Data Entry For You!
With the Web App, your project members log into the Project X Web App on your LAN (local area network) and choose the appropriate project. A list of their assigned tasks becomes immediately available. Now, in just a few minutes of their time, your project resources can electronically submit their respective updates including hours, percent complete, costs, notes and documents for each task. Help is available each step of the way and a summary page lets staff members review their submissions and make any necessary corrections before sending them to you for approval.

Update the Project in Just One Click
With just one click, Project X automatically updates the project with the information that has been submitted electronically by your project team. This means that in seconds your project is updated to reflect the work done and expenses incurred. If you would rather review the information first before using the one-click update method, you can do so from the comfort of your office. Review submitted time sheets, costs, and project notes for each project team member before approving them. Rejecting a submission generates an email informing the project team member of the problem for additional review.
Now that you have put an end to less than productive, round-the-table status meetings, and have found a truly innovative, time-saving way of updating the project with minimal data entry on your part, it's time to focus on what's really important-managing the project!
