The Web App

New Features

Breadcrumb trails implemented/ Ability to reach back to parent task using Navigation bar.
Resource Leveling has been implemented.
Media options are now able on tasks.
A “Remove Note” button has been added to the Notes tab in the Inspector.
A cancel button now appears in the import window.
The default calendar contains US holidays. In order view these, please click on the Restore Default Application Settings button in the Project X General Preferences.
Dragging URL’s from the web browser to Documents has been enabled.

Bug Fixes
Revert option available in the File menu.
Now able to link tasks in the Outline view.
The resource order in the Cost/Resources tabs is now correct.
Network view work area no longer disappearing after creating and deleting tasks.
Using the up/down arrows to edit the date in the project inspector is now functional.
Resolved problems moving resources into a meeting invitation.
Holidays/Exception days input into the Standard Calendar in Preferences, now display in the calendar for a newly created project.
Expand/collapse buttons are now functional in the Track Progress view after first deleting a task in Track Progress view, switching to Network view, adding more tasks there then switching back to Track Progress view.
Resolved duration problems after adjusting working hours of an exception.
Lead/Lag is now being calculated in the Links tab in the Inspector.
Subprojects are calculating duration correctly based on nested tasks.
Undo working in Track Progress view.
The mouse pointer no longer changes to the resize icon when mousing over holidays, workdays and exception information. The pointer only changes to the resize icon when mousing over column areas.
Flat fee is now calculated correctly for resources in the Cost tab.

Deleting links in other views is now refreshing correctly in the Network view.
Calendar preferences can now be edited when no documents are open.

Stability

Deletion of tasks with custom category no longer eats up memory and crashes.
Project X is no longer crashing when not saving a baseline when publishing a document.
Project X no longer crashes when you open/close the calendar on the Task.
Project X no longer crashes after deleting tasks from a recently imported project.
Project X no longer crashes when you click on the sync button after opening a project in the Submissions view.
Project X no longer crashes when closing or quitting when some default views are set in the “reopen Project to” option in Preferences. All views except Network would crash.
Project X no longer crashes after saving/opening documents containing lines in the Header/Footer view.
Fixed Validation error when total hours for the planned worked day is low.

Printing
Printing in the Calendar view has been improved.
Page Breaks are viewed in Print Preview only.
Page range is displayed correctly now in the Project X Print Options dialog.

Interface Changes
The project inspector has the ability to allow users to manually modify tasks attributes once created.
Units are now correctly displayed when the region/currency is set to Indian Rupee.
It is now easier to select link connectors between tasks/subprojects/milestones.
Critical Path is displaying correctly.
You are no longer able to draw outside of the visible area in the Header/Footer Window.
Attributes such as color, font, style and size can be applied to text in the Header Footer window.
The “No Selection” option has been removed from the point size pop-up in the Header Footer window.
Project and resource calendars have updated interface.
GUI problem in Preferences regarding “Use template: Blank”, has been resolved.
The Over Allocation of resources default is set to 300% now.
Message implemented when no licenses are found.
Message implemented when the number of available licenses are exceeded.

Removed Features
The Cash Flow option has been removed.
You are no longer able to type a value in the percent complete area in a task. This field is for feedback only.
The Collaboration section has been removed from the Project Inspector.

The Web App
Web App is now displaying multiple projects per resource.
Vcards with company checked can now log in to the Web App.
Percent complete is consistent with hours input into the Web App.
Previous dates are no longer represented in negative values in the Web App.
