The Web App

New Features

  • Breadcrumb trails implemented/ Ability to reach back to parent task using Navigation bar.
  • Resource Leveling has been implemented.
  • Media options are now able on tasks.
  • A “Remove Note” button has been added to the Notes tab in the Inspector.
  • A cancel button now appears in the import window.
  • The default calendar contains US holidays. In order view these, please click on the Restore Default Application Settings button in the Project X General Preferences.

    Bug Fixes

  • Project X no longer crashes after deleting tasks from a recently imported project.
  • Project X no longer crashes when you click on the sync button after opening a project in the Submissions view.
  • Project X no longer crashes when closing or quitting when some default views are set in the “reopen Project to” option in Preferences. All views except Network would crash.
  • Project X no longer crashes after saving/opening documents containing lines in the Header/Footer view.

    Printing
  • Printing in the Calendar view has been improved.

    Interface Changes
  • The project inspector has the ability to allow users to manually modify tasks attributes once created.
  • Units are now correctly displayed when the region/currency is set to Indian Rupee.
  • It is now easier to select link connectors between tasks/subprojects/milestones.
  • Critical Path is displaying correctly.
  • You are no longer able to draw outside of the visible area in the Header/Footer Window.
  • Attributes such as color, font, style and size can be applied to text in the Header Footer window.
  • The “No Selection” option has been removed from the point size  pop-up in the Header Footer window.
  • Project and resource calendars have updated interface.
  • GUI problem in Preferences regarding “Use template: Blank”, has been resolved.
  • The Over Allocation of resources default is set to 300% now.
  • Message implemented when no licenses are found.
  • Message implemented when the number of available licenses are exceeded.

    Removed Features
  • The Cash Flow option has been removed.
  • You are no longer able to type a value in the percent complete area in a task. This field is for feedback only.
  • The Collaboration section has been removed from the Project Inspector.

    The Web App
  • Web App is now displaying multiple projects per resource.

  • Vcards with company checked can now log in to the Web App.

  • Percent complete is consistent with hours input into the Web App.

  • Previous dates are no longer represented in negative values in the Web App.
